Angeleno Corps: A 10-Month Paid Internship Program

Angeleno Corps is a 10-month paid internship program for Los Angeles youth aged 18 to 30. Participants can pursue educational goals in fields such as education, child care, health, environmental justice, immigration, nutrition, digital support, or the defense of the right to housing. Unfortunately, volunteers who need to provide services through a referral or judicial diversion program are not accepted.

Empathy-Building Experiences

The department also organizes programs for community members to take part in empathy-building experiences.

Examples include the Hospitals and Morgues (HAM) program and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) victim impact panels. Additionally, they administer the Court-Referred Community Services (CRCS) program which connects volunteers with the most appropriate nonprofit organizations based on their location and interests.
